WonderLand Brainstorming

And now for something completely different!
It's WonderLand. Yuuuup. Holy cow. WonderLand.
First time I've said anything about that in a loooong time online. Still tight lipped though. Won't be answering any questions quite yet.

I don't do sketchbooks, just laser paper. But I love just spewing ideas out on a page, trying to fill it all up and see what springs out of my head. Eventually I fill every space and then move onto another page. Pages like this make me wish I did do the sketchbook thing so I could have a book full of this stuff though.

Tee hee. It's a good day.

Flappers

Nicole Strafaci as a flapper.
And boy do I love drawing things from the 20s. This is probably my favorite one of the night.

The Arrival

Daniella Traub as French Fashionitta on Feb 14 at the Drawing Club. Check out the Drawing Club's Blog for more.

There's always at least one pose that's a great idea that I just can't quite finish over the short pose time. The moment I saw this last pose I just knew exactly how I wanted it and cropped and the works. I may finish this one, because there's such a story there. Well, in actuality, she was kissing a plush dog, but I couldn't see that and this is the story I found from my side view.

More of the Sailor Girl

I spent more time trying to decide the best expression for such a cute pose then drawing anything else.
