Slimer and Janine

THANKS FOR EVERYONE'S SUPPORT!

It's Super Busy Double Time! so I'm going to be pretty iffy posting until after SDCC. I have some stuff I can post now, but there's that scanning thing and posting and these pages aren't going to finish themselves. Damn though, I love my jobs. I've got one that includes group sharing and it's so inspiring to be working with all these fantastic creatives on such an awesome project.

Here's some Slimer and Cartoon Janine to tide the unknown lull. I never liked Slimer even as a kid, so this is probably the only Slimer I'll ever draw. I haven't really been able to sit through rewatching the cartoons but they're full of fond memories. Now the movies are an entirely different beast and I wuv them dearly.

SO YES! GHOSTBUSTERS GAME!

More Art, More Art

We need more art around this here place. I am very busy working on things I can't talk about! Unfortunately that means even my warm up sketches really can't be posted.
Here's something I've been trying to get all the loose ends tied up:
The top of a comic page. Oh ho ho. Here's what my pages look like when I draw not really intending for them to be stared at for any reason. I pencil cleaner most of the time. But that there is the funnest method and if I get more confident I might use it more in the future.

Matador

I've been extremely busy the last few weeks and it's been the best kind of busy. Unfortunately the type that I can't speak about.
Here's some matadors from the Drawing Club two weeks ago to tide us all over while I art it up over here.

The Drawing Club Again
Daniella Traub is an amazing model.

I was obsessed with patterns. Copics and multiliners, brushpens and short poses.

Reclaiming Sci-Fi Points

Since I failed at Star Wars- I present STAR TREK!

Obi-won Kenobi

I grew up on Star Wars.
My mom made my dad go to Star Wars IV on a date. Funny as my dad is the sci-fi fan.
My first memory is me playing with blocks and Star Wars on TV.
I bribed the kids I babysat with Star Wars drawings.

Thus my nerdy heart dies a bit that I have only two Obi-Won's to show you and one is because his hand turned out cool.

More Sexy Sailor Girl

This Thursday- I get to draw Star Wars at the Drawing Club. My little fangirl heart goes pitter patter, pitter patter. Oh me, oh my!

I didn't go last week to the Drawing Club- busy at the LA Comic Book Pro group. Which is pretty awesome, a great chance to meet and marvel at other peoples stuff and to sit around with a dumb smile on my face.

So we go back and and see the last of my favorite Sailor Pinup model ever, Marissa Gomez

The Mad Duke

So Dispel. Once upon a two months ago, I was working a pitch. It is now backburner for other exciting carrots.

But I still love the Mad Duke. This here is the Mad Duke complete with awesome moose antlers. His hobbies are hunting and horticulture and being mad.

WonderLand Brainstorming

And now for something completely different!
It's WonderLand. Yuuuup. Holy cow. WonderLand.
First time I've said anything about that in a loooong time online. Still tight lipped though. Won't be answering any questions quite yet.

I don't do sketchbooks, just laser paper. But I love just spewing ideas out on a page, trying to fill it all up and see what springs out of my head. Eventually I fill every space and then move onto another page. Pages like this make me wish I did do the sketchbook thing so I could have a book full of this stuff though.

Tee hee. It's a good day.

The Arrival

Daniella Traub as French Fashionitta on Feb 14 at the Drawing Club. Check out the Drawing Club's Blog for more.

There's always at least one pose that's a great idea that I just can't quite finish over the short pose time. The moment I saw this last pose I just knew exactly how I wanted it and cropped and the works. I may finish this one, because there's such a story there. Well, in actuality, she was kissing a plush dog, but I couldn't see that and this is the story I found from my side view.

Gone Fishin'

More of the Sailor Girl

I spent more time trying to decide the best expression for such a cute pose then drawing anything else.
